This Christmas, I have been reminded again how God promised the world that He would send His Son, Jesus, as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of those who believe on Him. Over 2000 years ago, God did send forth His Son, Jesus, to fulfill this promise. Jesus is God’s gift to mankind. Let’s celebrate this Christmas by thanking God for sending Jesus as He promised.
John 3:16 sums up the Gospel: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Then John 3:17 goes on to say, “For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” My friends, this Son of God is the Christ-child that was born that night in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago, just as the Bible tells us.
In going through some papers that I have saved from years gone by, I found this editorial that was written by my daughter when she was a senior in high school and the editor of her school paper. She entitled the editorial as “An Unbroken Promise”. I would like to share this editorial with you as part of this post.

Merry Christmas and Blessings in the New Year!
